Busy, busy, busy

There seems to be a consistent readership with this site, so of that I offer my thanks and my hello to all the lurkers… and the few I keep semi-regular posting going with, such as Channel Null and Kylark.

I won't be posting much for the next few weeks as it's been hectic here. December was busy and took a lot out of me, New Year's saw old friends in from Tokyo, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Montréal. My best friends were wed last week (see pic; myself and the bride, and I am officially right gunned), and the morning of the wedding — of which I was supposed to emcee — there was a death in my family. However, the wedding went very well (congratulations, Mr & Mrs Chiu!). Even though I am apparently not allowed to flirt with Carmen's sister. Or mother.

It is Ukrainian Christmas this weekend here on the Prairies (and in Ukraine, I presume). So we had a solemn dinner this evening and pored over memories while sipping wine and scotch. I have a peculiar family, so on that they've finally located my cousin and she is in remand. She'll be attending her father's funeral with a police escort and in shackles. ///

I also have some new design contracts to get on.

Anyhow, I'll be back more regularly in a few weeks. Till then, Happy New Year!
